I have ordered things from Sundance over the years and have been pleased with the purchases. I have never had to make a return until this past May 2020. Made a $350 purchase that did not work. Sent the package back with their label in mid-May. Called mid-June because no refund and was conveniently told they had not received the package but would get the refund processed by July 10th either way. July 10 came & went - no refund. Called today/July 16 and was told the package was received and that we needed to wait "a few days" for the refund. Really? It's been 45 days! She told us the package was received on July on 13th. Mail can be slow but not THAT slow. After seeing these other reviews, I will never order from Sundance again. There is enough stress going on in this world without adding undue stress caused by this business with horrible customer service and apparent liars.

I always love their catalogs, the stuff is just so nice looking. So Mother's Day rolls around and both my husband and my son placed orders for lots of stuff. Lucky me, right?

I got all the stuff, a couple pieces back ordered but ok. Well, the 2 pair of pants just fit differently. I got a M in Leila pants and it fit great but I wanted it just slightly loose since it's like a beach type pull on pants you cuff up. I decided to exchange it for a L. Ok so far. I also got a pair of khaki linen roll up pants in a 10, they were a little too loose, ok decided to exchange for an 8. When those exchanges came it was way off. The Large in Leia was smaller than the M that I returned! The 8 in the khakis was literally swimming on me, much larger than the 10 that I returned. I wound up having to return both for a refund. I had similar issues with the tops which I eventually kept once we went back and forth a few times (each time costing more shipping both ways sigh).

Husband bought me some pricey jewelry which I adored. The quality is awful. The blackened silver cannot be cleaned up with jewelry cleaner or a cloth and turns your neck black. The matching bracelet not so much. I no longer can wear it. I did get 6 wears out of it and compliments, but am not happy about that at all. It looks exactly like it did when I got it, but it just bleeds the blackening agent and nothing I can do stops it. I have so much silver, never had this issue, not sure it's genuine. I know a lot of artisan jewelry is not stamped, but never had these issues and never paid as much as he did either.

The earrings were fine.

I doubt I would order there again. $70 in shipping on pants that were inconsistent in sizing was a turn off. That kind of inconsistency is a flaw and should not cost the customer repeatedly. I did not complain, just won't order anymore.

THE MOST GARBAGE PRODUCT They use the most archaic system. I waited for an exchange for three months and never got it. After several attempts of getting answers out of customer service, I finally I FOUND their refund department customer helpline number which is seven6zero two8four
....three one three one i did received a refund on my from Sundance after long chase with Sundance I'm in limbo. Never again with Sundance.

Deceptive Photo

Check the catalog photo and my actual photo-see for yourself why I would never recommend Sundance clothing. The sweater was heavy and felt like a cardboard tube! How did they get it to look like that in the photo? I returned it to the store after reading so many negative return reviews.

Again and again horrible experience. Another time burned on commitment when product will arrive...

Sundance makes no attempt to notify you that a item is out of stock on you initial purchase upfront. They get your money and then provide a thank you for your business and it typically ships within 24 hours. But in the line item of your purchase it says it is out of stock with a date. So you have the choice to call back and cancel order or wait for it to ship. Well for Christmas I had a out of stock with a ship date before Christmas so I waited. Christmas came and went and I called them back and they said the item would not be in stock for 3 MONTHS! No notification. I cancelled the purchase item but still got stuck with the 2nd day shipping cost. Well it happen again with a purchase in June. Another present missed for my wife. Again, stuck with the shipping charges. All others businesses provide notification at purchase and even ask you if you want to proceed. Not Sundance. Pretty shady and absolutely no thought about customer satisfaction. You have lost a long time purchaser and your rating explains why. You don't care!

WARNING: Do not order from Sundance Catalog!

Placed online order to Sundance Catalog on 5/17/2021.
Wrong item received 5/20/2021.
Emailed Sundance customer service 5/20/21 with order confirmation and photo of wrong item received, requesting corrective action by Sundance.
As the error was entirely on the part of Sundance I expected Sundance to correct it (as other online merchants do).
Sundance responded by email that I would have to: return the wrong item, complete the return information packing slip asking for exchange to original item ordered, include payment information for original item ordered plus shipping. Refund would be issued for wrong item once return received.
I emailed the return information packing slip (photos) completed with wrong and original items but declined to pay for original item and shipping costs as the error was entirely Sundance's error.
As of 6/2/2021, there was no response from Sundance, nor receipt of original item ordered.
My email of 6/2/2021 was met by Sundance with directive by email to return wrong item, then they would take action.
To say that Sundance is not trustworthy, nor competent, is an understatement. They make an error but want customer to be accountable. They provide no customer service and take no responsibility for their errors.
Very BAD merchant!

Never shopping with them again!

For the prices of their merchandise....Customer service is horrible. They charge shipping for returns (on a $400 jacket). Have to wait for almost every order because it is on backorder. I love their style but that is not enough to get me to ever purchase again. They used to be so reputable...I don't know what happened, but they are an awful company.

Defective Product with No Service

Earring came appart first time my wife wore them. Took weeks to get here in the first place so return policy is void to start. Wrote several emails with zero response. This is not a good company. Spend your hard earned money where your patronage is appreciated!

Overpriced

Overpriced. Inconsistent quality. (Jewelry -- especially poor quality.) They do NOT pay for returns. Reviews of items do NOT ask for the most important information -- whether the item runs big, small or true to size. I always have to reorder something do I like in a different size and pay for the returns.

Rug order

I ordered a rug which was delayed for several months, When it was finally shipped, FedEx said it would be delivered on a Thursday, then Friday, and I still don't have the rug. I will never order anything again from Sundance.

this company is a cess pool

this company is a cess pool. that's being nice. Never received our order. I don't think they care one way or the other. had to go though our credit card. all I can do is spread this poisonous company around the community.

I have been ordering from this company…

I have been ordering from this company for years. Something has gone astray with them lately. They are sending promotion codes which do not work (no error is returned but the discount does not apply either, and that's been happening for few months now). This is very unfortunate for a reputable company. I have to call customer service every time to have the promotion code applied and they deny having an issue. For the prices they charge they should have better technology (giving them the benefit of the doubt that they don't monkey with the codes intentionally).
Additionally, the item history has no date sorting which makes looking up a purchased item very difficult.
I'm very disappointed.

Lack of delivery and response by Sundance

I have never ordered from a company with worse customer relations than Sundance. I ordered a birthday present for my wife ( necklace order number 21025146) a month before her birthday and received it 2 months after her birthday. There is no contact from your Sundance and only when I contacted customer service was there an apology and update which I did 2 or 3 times. I used Sundance many times over the years but not anymore You didn't even contact me that it finally arrived or sorry or a lousy coupon for the delay. Obviously you must be doing so well that it is unnecessary to have satisfied customers but I am done with this company but I am sure that doesn't matter either

No you don't! Overpriced and poor quality. I Purchased a necklace on sale and it was so tiny I returned it. This company is no longer affiliated with Robert Redford!

The quality and consistency of Sundance products has gone steadily downhill.
Many if not most of their "imported" products come from China.
These items are typically poorly made from cheap materials. The quality control/inspection process for items sold at sundancecatalog.com appears to be nonexistent.
